Artist Biography

1883 - 1965

Edna Badgley, a painter and printmaker, was born in Missouri on November 9, 1883. She moved to southern California in 1918. After marrying artist Natt Piper in 1924, she settled in Long Beach. She and her husband were pupils in the printmaking class taught by H. Valentine Fanshaw. Mrs. Piper died in Bishop, California on October 16, 1965.
