Raymond Jerome JONES
1887 - 1941

Raymond Jerome Jones was born in Caryle, Illinois on March 28, 1887. Following service in World War One, he moved to California in 1916. A resident of Santa Cruz in the 1920s, he spent his last 13 years in San Francisco. Active in the local art scene, he was a still life specialist. He died there on April 10, 1941. Member: Bohemian Club; Bay Region Art Ass'n. Exhibited: Oakland Art Gallery, 1937, 1939; Santa Cruz Art League, 1938; Society for Sanity in Art, 1940.
